Washable Silk
Can you machine wash silk pajamas?
Yes, if the silk is made to be washable. A.ROSE silk pajamas are 100% washable silk, so you can machine wash them at home with no dry cleaner. Place them in the mesh wash bag included with every A.ROSE silk set, use a delicate cycle with cold water and a gentle detergent for silk or delicates, then lay flat to dry. What is washable silk?
Washable silk is real silk that's made and finished to be cleaned at home instead of dry cleaned. It keeps the softness, sheen and breathability of silk while being easy enough for everyday life. All of our Timeless Washable Silk sets, including the Victoria and Chloe sets, are 100% washable silk.
What's the difference between silk and satin?
Silk is a natural fiber; satin is a type of weave that's often made from polyester. Satin can look shiny, but real silk is more breathable, more temperature-regulating and softer against your skin. A.ROSE silk pajamas are made from 100% silk, not polyester satin.
Are silk pajamas good for hot sleepers?
Yes. Silk is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, so it helps you stay comfortable instead of trapping heat like many synthetic fabrics. It's one of the most-loved reasons our customers choose A.ROSE silk pajamas.
Does washable silk wrinkle or shrink?
Silk can wrinkle a little, which is part of its natural beauty. Steam it, use a low-heat iron on the reverse side, or hang it in the bathroom during a hot shower. To prevent shrinking or stretching, always wash in cold water on a delicate cycle and lay flat to dry.
Are silk pajamas worth it?
For many women, yes. Silk feels incredible on your skin, is gentle on skin and hair, regulates temperature year-round and, cared for well, lasts for years. Because A.ROSE silk is machine washable, you get the luxury without the dry-cleaning bills.

What is the Emmi Set made of?
The Emmi Set is made of 15% silk, 77% modal and 8% spandex. Silk adds a soft, luxurious feel, modal makes it breathable and buttery-soft, and spandex gives it a gentle stretch that holds its shape all day. It's a scoop-neck tank and relaxed pant set in Chocolate Brown, Oatmeal and Black.
What is silk-modal loungewear?
Silk-modal is a blend of silk and modal, a soft, breathable fiber made from beech wood. Together they create loungewear that feels luxurious, drapes beautifully and is easy to wash and wear every day. The Emmi Set is A.ROSE's silk-modal loungewear set.
What's the difference between 100% silk and silk-blend loungewear?
Our 100% silk sets are pure luxury for sleeping and lounging. The Emmi Set is a silk-modal blend with a little stretch, made to be soft, breathable and easy to wear from morning to night. Choose 100% silk for the most luxurious sleepwear, and the Emmi Set for loungewear you can live in all day.
Can I wear the Emmi Set out of the house?
Yes, that's what it was made for. Thanks to its silk-modal fabric and gentle stretch, the Emmi Set holds its shape from home to errands to dinner and back. Add a blazer, a trench or a long coat and it reads as a polished outfit.
Is the Emmi Set good for hot sleepers and night sweats?
Many of our customers, including women going through perimenopause, tell us the Emmi Set keeps them comfortable through warm nights. Its silk-modal fabric is breathable and soft against the skin.

How do I wash the Emmi Set?
Machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water only, and wash dark colors separately. Tumble dry on low. Do not bleach. Use a cool iron if needed.

Can I personalize silk pajamas with a monogram?
Yes, on select styles. Monogramming isn't available on every piece, so look for the embroidery option on the product page. On eligible styles, you can add up to 2 initials on the top pocket, or up to 12 characters on the bottom sleeve or bottom front corner. Choose from four fonts (Bridal, Allegro Script, Baby Blanket or Times New Roman) and five thread colors (white, light pink, light blue, black or light grey). See embroidery details.
How long does monogramming take?
Please allow 7–10 business days for embroidery before your order ships. Monogrammed pieces are made to order and are final sale.
What's a good luxury gift for a bride, new mom or birthday?

What is your return policy?
Return unworn, unwashed items with tags attached within 30 days for a refund, exchange or store credit. Gift cards, final-sale items and monogrammed pieces can't be returned. Start a return on our returns page.
